I’ve been enjoying T5 quite a lot. Haven’t had too many problems with RT, flux is strong but dat fire rate.

As an (extremely new-to-it) LRF player, RT hasn’t been something I could abuse. There are many times that I die whether or not I use it, and many times where it was the only thing that let me live through an opposing gunship who flew up to meet me.
Using it as a gunboat may carry other implications for RT. But even in the other roles I play I have no major concerns with RT users. Sometimes it lets you get out of a fight and live. So do a lot of other modules. I would argue the problem there is gunboatting an LRF, not the RT…
But then again, I’m not the most experienced with RT meta. I’ll have a more solid stance on it once I have more experience…

Flux phaser is absolutely ridiculous (against interceptors and fighters) not RT and scater field,they got nerfed with the implant nerfs so LRF is fairly balanced now

This thread is a cancer for turning new player farming into a competition. Also, “I’d rather play tier 2 because of flux phaser and reverse thruster!” is probably the most entertaining thing I’ve read all day. Even if it wasn’t lag it would be something, eh?

Please notice we were flying T4 engie, T3 fighter and T3 intie vs T4 ships, so we gave them fair chances

All three of them have since left NASA (and did so a while ago), so yes this screenshot is old.
My god my team sucked… and then I had to 1v2 Virul and PrM. (switched to Jag after the second kill)
3 kills on Virul, 4 kills on PrM that game. I’m going to upload the video later.
