Should Open Space Loot be used to upgrade equipment on ships?

Should we be able to upgrade modules/weapons through the use of Open Space loot that is normally autosold?

We should have more than just munitory means of upgrading weapons. Any good engineer can properly fix their remote controlled toy car, so there's few reasons why someone should say no to upgrading and modifying weapons and equipment like this too.

I think that if you buy a spatial scanner you should get payed in open space not cheated  .....    Open space in general and spatial scanners over all are a waste of money , time and resources . Its time the Dev's made the spatial scanners worth the money spent on them !!!!!!!

This would basically force people to waste their time in open space, which is currently a mode hardly anyone enjoys.

That's why i say no.

Sorry I forgot you get vouchers for drops in OS ... all may loyalty is maxed out at 1,000,000 ..... I would NEVER go to open space to find 200 or 10,000 or 15,000 loyalty ....EVER
