To answer your question - comparison of payouts 16-17 months ago and now:

Hard mode PvE R11-R15, 2016-08-06:

So as you can see - credits earning per battle are mostly the same. What was changed:

  • Lost PvP game gives you almost the same amount of credits as a won one
  • Increased repair costs that should encourage people to avoid being killed unnecessarily 
  • Increased credit gains in dread battles, example:

  • Increased payouts in higher difficulty PvE maps like Ariadne's Thread, Processing Rig, Pirate Fort Raid, example:

    (one of our first tries :D  when we were trying to figure the map out)

  • Ellydium ships were added and they can eat up hundreds of millions of credits easily...

 

So in summary of changes: repair costs were increased (by 50%) , new credit sinks were added (Ellydium...), but also new methods of earning credits were added to compensate.

Gaining credits through pvp feels mostly pointless imo, especially if you don't have a license, since about 50% of your income ets eaten up by repairs and ammo resupplys. Only pve yields enough, but that gets VERY tedious after a while.

That would be nice, but we know it will never happen either way. 

 

What I don't get is why they nerfed the things we paid real money for.

My DLC/premium boosts are still here, what was nerfed again and what actually it has to do with the topic?

@Niripas - you mean Ellydium ships are costly to build, ok, but are they also more costly in repairs and ammo replenishment?
