Reduce PvE stage waiting time

For like 5-10 minutes PvE waiting a minute and a half is just way too much!! (30 sec for each stage x3). If all players are ready - lets start the battle, why wait?
Personally it makes me sleepy and brakes non-stop action concept.

Here.. lets take half a minute break to appreciate each of those amazing screenshots!

It's more about planing your actions with your squad. Some pilots think it's nearly enough. After our PvE missions rework (it's coming up, yep) it will be even more essential on hard difficulty :)

To be honest I've never ever even once seen players planning actions before PvE mission. Its either you know what to do or you not - nothing to discuss really. But I guess we'll wait for updates and see if this changes..

Stop with these awful excuses. A pre-formed squad talk likely via TS and don't need 1:20 minutes wasted time.
1) Why you don't make a ingame survey?
2) Why you didn't implement this to test it? The team would still need 4 ready to go straight - so no trolling possible.
3) It was already requested.

I would come up with a better suggestion. Don't change the waiting time, but implement a trigger button, so when everyone checks in as "ready" the counter would go all the way to 0 and another stage would sart.

Already suggested this, I think, or maybe I was thinking about it. By pressing "spacebar", we should be able to start immediately. In 30 seconds I can do a lot of things.

Run around a house at least once. Why not just start with action immediately?

Btw, Combat Recon mechanics should also work like this. You got 3 players with the highest rating, but if you press the spacebar first, You're the Captain!

 

Crystal ball: Not possible due to technical...

Why wasting resources on already balanced PvE battles? Randoms are already complaining enough. We need more new content, not more of the same.

Balancing for devs don't mean playbalance for players.
It's about making money(increasing grind/difficulty/reducing loot).
I have the fear, that they just increase the damage/number of enemies.
The problem of randoms is that they don't check what's going on or they refuse to check it.
More time in waiting stages don't help anyone.

Current PvE are extreamely boring, if their rework can make them fun and make a proper coop out of them, all the better.

PvE is pretty boring now. for example I can pretty much just go in a straight line the whole time with destroyer in defense contract and its done.

Same few missions that are not exactly what I would call rng. You can shoot a torp in the spot you know they will be at the right time and the second they spawn, death by torp lol....

New pve missions would be great. I don't like to just do pvp only all the time, I like to change it up and do a bit of everything and then call it a day with some type of progression daily.

And ofc a rework of already made missions would be nice too like the cruiser in fs/dc. Its a box with turrets on it. *LAME* lol

Maybe this 30 secs there isn't only for players, but for the servers.

Some info in this 30 secs could help new players to know primary objectives, but it will be boring for the rest. Also we have to be realistics, because random players gaining synergy for one specific ship won't change their selection.

New PVE maps like current ones will last for some time, but they will be boring fast. We need PVE maps with more random content. In fact, the more, the better.

Do you call via queue or via places/enemies generated?
The first is easy explained: Next to no rng - the special queue is in most times the giving scenario, only in 4 wild player queues it's following a server logic.

New scenarios and 'random' generated things will always be boring. Don't think that 'new' stuff will change that ever. Contrary to thinking, random is a nerf factor and nothing exciting. Especially for new players.

Although I was hyped for the naberia, I was kinda disappointed - It has the same mechanic as the defence contract which forces you to fly all the time, shoot stupid enemies and stuff, and then, there is a cruiser... It is boring. If the whole Scenario was diverted into 3 stages as the other PvEs - then it would be more fun for me. The best thing that ever happened was, that the map was added to OS universe - that way I could finally explore it. The PvE map was way too straight-headed and you didn't use all the potential stuff on the map.

 

For example, there was a post before the map was released - something like a fire and ice secret passages into the facility, and they are in-fact there - the ventilation system is broken and you can fly through it. But you never use it. Its like adding cool turret you can build on the cruiser, but it never reaches it.
