Big_Dirk_Energy 350 Posted December 2, 2015 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 So, most of us agree (aside from Koromac probably), vouchers are a tremendous grind compared to credits or iridium, but yet, it is the only upgrade for weapons/modules that doesn't have a lootable kit. I propose that mark 3 (blue) kits be added to the game to help solve this voucher crisis. They would have greater rarity than green kits, but be more common than purple. When salvaged, they should give a small percentage of vouchers corresponding to the vouchers required to upgrade that specific module (say 1% of w/e the module voucher upgrade cost actually is, so for a module costing 180k vouchers, you would receive 1.8k vouchers). I think this is perfectly reasonable. It wouldn't make the voucher grind stupidly easy, but it would make it easy enough so that no one gets stuck with all green gear for terribly long. 1% of the cost seems reasonable to me, as the higher ranked upgrade kits you find, the more vouchers you get, but the amounts will always be around the same as the easier/faster recharging voucher quests. But probably we will change something with iridium. What do you want to change with Iridium? Only chance you could make is that it is more common in Alien Space in Open space mode. Alien ships should all drop small amounts of Iridium! 5 for small, infefected ships or Biomorph, 20 for each Hunter and 60,100 or 150 from a Predator, increase the base % chance of dropping such items. They are too rare! At least, you should do this in Alien Space, because Aliens there are 2 times harder, because they do double amount of damage and more durable as well.
