Special Ops: Tier 5 Defiler Raid mission (Any brave souls left?)

Recommended Posts

T5 Defiler Raid used to be exciting and challenging.

Of course, you had to had a good team behind you and each member knew of his assigned tasks.

However, since singularity cannon and phaser nerf or balance change (can only hit the same object once) significantly increased the level of challenge to deal enough damage quick and fast enough.

Following problems or reasons for such failures are:

 - randoms (they have usually 0 duplicators or they even refuse to duplicate, when you used a duplicator on them)

- unorganized, improper or unbalanced builds (properly equipped ship with the proper implant setup)

- lack of communication between players, if anything significant occurs (saying only important and relevant things can improve your teamwork abilities)

- reaction time (ability to reach and adapt fast to certain situations)

- precision (good aiming ability)

- prediction (knowing where to go and when - matter inverters)

- evasion problem (avoiding death)

- speed problem (reaching certain destination or point in time, before full retaliation is given)

- damage problem (not dealing enough damage to enemies or enemy objects)

- ignoring the portals or failure to close them in time

- matter inverters (coordinated team effort)

- synergy between players in a wing (12 players)

I would prefer to complete such mission flawlessly, with 0 losses and duplication attempts.

So, I am presenting a challenge, since I have my doubts, if the mission can still get done in time the same way it used to be.

I believe that it is still possible, but I am not sure. You must use the same or similar methods you used in the past.

You are free to choose any setup, ship or tactic, as long as it proves effective with 0 or minimal losses.

Today I tried to organise a wing and I did so, 2 times.

Unfortunately, we did not deal enough damage to the Defiler in time and we got destroyed by Super-Pulsar. (60% and 40% hull integrity).

Can you do it?

Can you show it, that you still have it in you?

Can your wing prove victorious once again?

Can you all survive without a single death?

or:

Can you survive with only a few losses? (Not more than 5 in the whole match, including duplication attempts)

Requirements:

- you only need to record the whole video from start to finish with the latest 1.2 version update - Defiler Raid (All Rank 13-15 ships required - tier V only)

- Full HD quality and sound quality: 1080 with 60 FPS, if possible (important)

- chat communication is allowed or recommended

- original game music is recommended

- you need to assemble a wing of 12 capable players

- your win may consist of any players

- your players may speak only in English, if they use the chat communication

- win without losses

or:

- win with no more than 5 losses total

- post a video link to this thread

- those, who do it first, gets the priority over others (reward)

and claim your prize: Section 8: Prejudice

and gain recognition among Star Conflict society.

I was thinking the same thing. And with the implant and damage nerfs coming soon any PvE will be pointlessly impossible. I guess they're really giving PvP a chance to come back, eh? Xp

Yes, whoever will do the video after the nerf, will have much, much harder chance of getting this done.

Is it possible to do it in time is the only question?!

I'd be interested to try it when I have fully kitted out my archdragon. Could you give more info about what strategy you want to employ?

Ask Sho in-game.

He will tell you all you need to know.
