Okay, let’s go in depth.

Starting with the crew - (left to right 1-15, top to bottom a-b-c)

1c to increase hull resists.

2a to increase crit rate and lock on time

3c to increase basic resistance levels for the shield

4b to ensure that the beam will explode faster and have a better opportunity to hit a dodgy enemy, or to hit a nearby structure that has them in range.

5a to increase the turn rate for the Ronin.

6c to  help increase projectile speed of the Mass Drivers to acceptable levels.

7c to help the ship sustain it’s energy capacity at peak while being within battle, light or heavy.

8a to increase the viability of the energy converter and the shield booster L.

9c to increase shield defenses while keeping the likes of gravitational lenses and other weapons that would normally skip the shield’s defenses from hitting the hull directly.

10c to increase the viability of the shield booster L and the energy converter.

11b to increase the fire rate of the mass drivers.

12b to ensure that the energy regeneration may sustain the emergency shield boost even when the shield is down or when the enemy is not firing at the ship.

13c to increase the base damage of the mass drivers over time.

14c to increase survivability during shield loss.

15a to increase base damage of the mass drivers.

Base Ship Special Module -

phase shield to increase weapon damage under certain situations and like its two counterparts to increase the EM shield resists to acceptable levels.

Ship base bonuses -

level 4 kinetic speed bonus to increase the mass driver’s projectile speed to acceptable levels

level 8 +10 shield resistances to bring the shield to acceptable defense levels.

Capacitor -

2 capacitor power relays to increase shield regeneration to acceptable levels and to minimize the basic effect of spy drones or other regeneration decreasing modules.

iridium heatsink to increase the fire rate of the mass drivers to acceptable levels.

Shield -

Shield Splitter to increase base shield capacity to acceptable levels.

thermal modulator - to bring shield resistances for thermal to 105 points, while kinetic is 72 and EM with the special module over it is 132, bringing shield resists to acceptable levels.

Hull -

Regenerative Coating to increase base hull regeneration to 148 per second at all times (as long as the energy is near peak capacity) +200 when outside of battle or module/weapon use.

Passive Armor to increase energy levels and to sustain constant afterburners at all times and general usage of the special module’s speed boost allowing it to reach its destination swiftly.

CPU -

Infrared Scanner to increase the crit rate to acceptable levels.

‘Horizon’ Module to increase the Mass Driver’s range to acceptable levels.

Weapon and Weapon modifier -

Mass Drivers to allow the hitting of any ship regardless of how speedy.

Vanadium Shells to increase the fire rate of the mass drivers to acceptable levels.

Missile -

Anomaly Generator to allow the ship to have long range anti dessie abilities and general usage. in a group, focus fire at a dessie and watch it sustain massive damage.

Active Modules -

Energy Converter to enable to Ronin to dish out extra damage when under focus fire, bringing damage to acceptable levels.

‘Spectre Field’ to encourage team play and to remain near allies to help them for your own sake and bonuses.

Shield Booster L to increase shield regenerative capabilities to acceptable levels.

Emergency Shield Boost to increase shield regenerative capabilities to acceptable levels.

Tactics

The Ronin is to be used as a versatile Backbone of any fleet.

It allows the enemy to be hit with sustained accuracy by many pilots of any skill level.

The base damage with its crit bonus is at acceptable levels on its own but with sustained focus fire is where this setup truly shines.

With up to 22m/s on your mass drivers you’ll find that you will even hit the Tai-kin pilots with much better ease than 'most any other weapon.

Alone generally fight as you normally will, keep near your allies or find a strategic position to provide cover fire or to take down fleeing enemies that would have otherwise escaped

(courtesy of mass drivers’ projectile speed.)

Alone the Spectre field works as a general boost for your defenses as long as you’re positioned correctly or a life saving technique for your team. With allies also using the Ronin with spectre field, you may gain permanent invisibility under’ most tactical situations where it’s needed. It is an optional module (always equipped but used when needed) to utilize when needed within battle, not necessarily relied upon, but a great boon for the fleet.

When you are the visible Ronin, be prepared to use the Energy Converter to its fullest capacity. ; )

My suggested compositions

4 Ronins in a basic squad.

6 Ronins in a wing - with the other slots being optional, I personally suggest keeping one tackler, perhaps

an engineer or command as well. depending on whatever the wing limit is.

Used Properly one Ronin will be visible at any point in time, making the use of the energy converter here perfect.

Use the Anomaly Generator as a focus fire tool for enemies up to 5km distance away preferably vs snipers or destroyers.

you may also fire these at nearby objects while utilizing the free aim option to retain the effect of a timed torpedo strike on pretty much anything.

(you may wish to slow your ship down if you’re hitting something really close)

Using ‘Free Aim’ while utilizing the anomaly generator is required for consistent results so that the beam does not cancel out in most situations.

Remember that these Ronins do not need to rely on the spectre field’s invisibility to survive. While it is a wonderful boon, this ship is built to last and will serve you well in many versatile situations.

It also provides cover for your tacklers to utilize their modules under safe conditions.

                                                                  Good luck pilot.

What’s the best way to use this build Wolf?

Tactics pls.

I’ll think about it.

that being said, on a group basis, it would be nice to have 6 of these bad boys frig ballin

(adding this to the main post)
