Right. They accelerate to that speed only when the last target they were aiming for wasn’t detected for 90 seconds (if I remember that value correctly) and going back to their designated routes. They will NOT follow you at 600m/s. Even when you start shooting them when they fly that fast, they will slow down to attack. Think - engine overcharge.

I was wondering who wrote the code for open space … NOW WE KNOW WHO TO BLAME FOR THIS SH*T !!!… Sense your taking the credit for the open space code development , will you rework this colossal mess ? Tone down the AGRO in open space so we can do quests in a ship that doesn’t go 700

LOL, no. Was trying to figure out some open space missions like Vanguard Outpost Escort mission and noticed the behaviour. For some quests (like Solaris Wasteland Predator hunt) I’m using a LRF, which definitely doesn’t go 700m/s
