Pilots! We are inviting you to join new year tournament - "North Hope"

Rules:

Article 1. About the tournament.

1.1 North Hope - team tournament in 5 vs 5 format.

1.2 This tournament is being held by game administration and Judicial corp.

1.3 Important dates:

  • 24.12 at 23:59 GMT +3 - End of teams’ registration

  • 25.12 - teams’ draw and schedule formation.  

Schedule of battles:

  • 25.12 18:00 to 22:00 GMT +3

  • 26.12 18:00 to 22:00 GMT +3

Article 2 Registration.

2.1 Teams can be registered here

2.2 In registration you should write:

  • Team name

  • Team logo (optional)

  • Team captain’s nickname

  • Captain’s assistant nickname

  • 5 players of main roster (Including captain and assistant)

  • 2 stand-in players

2.3 Single player can be registered only in a single team.

Article 3.Tournament holding system.

3.1 Tournament system will be chosen after the end of registration depending on the amount of teams. Possible systems:

  • Single elimination (with or without group stage)

  • Round-robin 

  • Swiss-system
     

In case of a tie in battle, the next map will be picked randomly by the referee.

In case of a tie in the whole meeting (Same points after 3 battles) teams will play “Omega” Station in bo1.

 

3.2 Tournament bracket will be chosen and published after the end of registration.

3.3 Battles will be played 5 vs 5.

3.4 Possible modes:

    3.4.1. Four lives

        3.4.1.1 Maps:

  • “Monolith” ruins

  • Destroyed station

  • Energy source

  • Lava obelisk

  • Ice reef

   3.4.2. Team battle

       3.4.2.1 Maps:

  • Test site “Nova - 17”

  • Station “Omega”

  • Colonist - 11

  • Leviathan catacombs

  • Complex Alpha 7

   3.4.3. Beacon capture

      3.4.3.1 Maps:

  • RV-42

  • “Monolith” ruins

  • Dreadnought debris

  • Iridium flow

  • Ice reef

3.5 Modes will be picked in the next order:

    3.5.1 First battle - Four lives

    3.5.2 Second battle - Team battle

    3.5.3 Third battle - Beacon capture

3.6 Battles will be played on RU, EU and US servers.

3.6.1. Both teams can claim the server they want to choose before creating room by referees.

3.6.2. If teams can’t come to agreement about server choice then:

  • In case when one team chose RU server and the second team chose US. Host sets US server in first battle, RU in second battle and EU in third battle.

  • In case when one team chose EU server and the second chose the US. Host sets EU server in first battle, and US server in second battle. Third server will be picked by the team that lost in the first battle.

  • In case when one team chose RU server and the second team chose EU server. Host sets RU server in first battle and EU server in second battle.Third server will be picked by the team that lost in the first battle.

3.7 All games will be played on 10-17 ranks.

3.8 First game will be played on a map that was chosen by a randomizer. The following maps will be played on maps that were chosen by randomizer excluding the maps that were already played. In case all maps have been played they will be reshuffled.

3.9 The room will be created by referees or will be delegated.

3.10 All claims about map’ settings should be said before the start of battle or in the first 45 seconds of battle. In case if a map was created with violations but no claims were said - match results will be considered to be correct. 

3.11 Matches should be played in allotted time.

3.12 The presence of outsiders is allowed only if referees and team captains agree with it. 

3.13 Match hosting features.

3.13.1 Teams can limit ships that can be chosen in meeting. To do this captains are being asked for ban list. After that referees send ban lists to opposing teams via in-game private messages

3.13.2 One team can ban not more than 5 ships.

3.13.3 Teams can’t ban more than 2 engineer ships

3.13.4 If player has one of forbidden ships while teams are in lobby, he will be kicked from lobby to change ships.

3.13.5 In case one of players has forbidden ship during the match his team will receive technical defeat in this match.

3.13.6 If referees won’t receive ban list from one of the captains after 5 minutes then opposing team will have no ship limitations. Ban list of the opposite team will still be active.

3.13.7 Ships that was blocked by one of the teams are unavailable for both teams.

3.14.2 Forbidden modules:

3.14.3 Forbidden weapons:

  • All pirate weapons

  • Contact coil mortar

3.14.4 Forbidden rockets:

  • Crystal drones

  • Magnetic mine

  • Anomaly torpedo

  • Death star

  • Repairing rockets

  • Weakening missiles

  • Anchor mine

  • Cluster rocket

Article 4. Controversial cases and judgement during the tournament.

4.1 Organisation and judgement of every match carries out by match referee. Referee makes his decisions according to statements of recent rules and informs teams about them.

4.2 In controversial cases the referee makes his decisions according to the rules. 

4.3 Only captains and captain’s assistants can communicate with referees about controversial cases and match organisation. 

Communication with referees:

  • Players can reach referees via forum PM, ingame PM and private communication.

  • Referee is not obliged to react to the team’s messages except for captains.

  • Referee in not obliged to answer on messages from communication sources that weren’t mentioned above.

  • Referee is not obliged to answer on flood and offense messages.

  • Players should talk to the referee strictly about the subject of conversation, supporting it with all concomitant information.

4.4 In case of game crash or other technical issues the match will be restarted only if there wasn’t more than 30 seconds from start of the match. In that case team captain should warn everyone about the problem in room chat. Either way the match won’t be restarted.

Article 5. Protest submission and communication with an administrative group.

5.1 Results can be reviewed in case of rude rules violation.

5.2 If there wasn’t any protest on the forum after 7 minutes after the publication of match results then match results are irrevocable and cannot be challenged.

5.3  Protest should be filed in less than 7 minutes after the publication of match results. It should contain all the information and proofs about the subject of protest.

5.4 Decisions about controversial situations are made by judge. The judge must report about his decision to captains via ingame PM.

5.5 Decisions about controversial situations, made by judge, are irrevocable and cannot be challenged or discussed.

Article 6.Technical defeat.

6.1 In case of absence of one of the teams and also in other cases, mentioned in Rules or in case of rude violation of game rules the team can receive a technical defeat. 

6.2 Team captain or his assistant confirms readiness of their team.

6.3 Captain or his assistant can appoint player to be in charge of team readiness. (Only for one match).

6.4 If an invited team will be missing for more than 10 minutes after an invite of the captain or his assistant, this team will be considered as absent.

6.5 Gathering of team for more than 10 minutes can be punished with technical defeat.

Article 7. Match showing.

7.1 Players are allowed to stream their matches.

7.2 Administration can stream matches of every team by joining matches as a spectator.

7.3 To exclude the possibility of unfair game, matches will be streamed with 30 seconds delay. 

7.4 Judges can demand to recreate the room before the start of the match, if it’s needed. 

7.5 Все матчи проходят с организацией прямой видеотрансляции.

Article 8. Player’s responsibilities.

8.1 Players are obliged to follow the rules of the game Star Conflict. 

8.2 Players are obliged to follow the norms of an actual Rules.

8.3 Players are obliged to follow the Common rules of Esports events.

8.4 By joining this tournament all the players are agreed to follow the rules and undertake the changes of them.

Article 9. Administrative group.

9.1 Administrative group consists of Chief Referee, Judges and Streamers:

RIGEL, Arhipups, NotShedi, Mettle, SeraX, Diomedas

9.2 The Chief Judge is the administration of the game.

9.3 Judges are responsible for:

    9.3.1 Hosting rooms for the tournament,

    9.3.2 Match progress control,

    9.3.3 Publishing the results of matches on the forum,

    9.3.4 Solving controversial moments of the matches…

9.4 Streamers and commentators provides the match showing.

Article 10. Prize pool and rewards.

Shown rewards will be splitted among team members equally (except for unique rewards like paintings and blueprints that cannot be handed over to teammates).

Players can refuse to get their reward in the favour of other team members. There is no substitute in case when players already have rewards from the list.

For maximum efficiency according to the results of one match among all the matches of the tournament one player will receive a painting “Plate steel”.

 

Additionally, for the good behavior of the team, each of its members can choose 2 metallic colors. Good behavior includes: no lateness, full attendance (directly in battle), no conflicts with the organizers.

 

Players will be rewarded only if they play at least in one match during the tournament.

 

Rewards will be given NOT EARLIER than 14 January 2022. Up to this date referees will conduct additional checks of violations. In case of revealing the violations, punishment will be applied to the teams.

No. We traditionally have a tournament on the last weekend of December and this year it fell on Christmas.

If you don’t want people to participate I can’t stop you. I’m sure you will do the same and have the tournament on the 31st December/1st January next year
