Role-based titles

Performing excellently with any given role of ship should grant the player a title corresponding to the role that they have shown excellence in. This way not only can players see who is good at what, but organized wings in seccon or raids can show easily who is designated to what position etc.

 

Some examples:

 

Medic(Engineer): Heal a certain amount of points of allies.

Guard(Guard): Stop a certain amount of missiles

Protrctor(Command): Stop a certain amount of damage with buffs

Gunner(Gunship): Deal a certain amount of damage

Scout(Recon): uncloak a certain amount of enemies

Stopper(ECM): Stun a certain amount of enemies

Inhibitor(Tackler): Slow/inhibit enemies a certain amount of time.

Destroyer(Suppressor): Kill a certain number of enemies in a destroyer.

Sniper(LRF): Deal a certain amount of damage with disint/torp.

Assassin(Covert Ops): Deal a certain amount of damage with CovOps.

 

These are just examples and would likely need to be changed to suit a broader level of playstyles within the ship roles.

 

There could also be secondary rewards for completing these titles, like unique ships, weapons, or modules for those roles. Primary example: Heimdall.
