Delta Manipulator [Module]

Name: Delta Manipulator

Type: Multipurpose active module for all ships

Recharge: 25 seconds

Range: 2,000m

Tooltip: Grapples objects in space to you. Does not affect ships or machines. Fire primary weapons to eject the object at high speed. Activate module again to drop the object without throwing it. The bigger the user’s ship, the higher velocity on release.

Function: exactly that of the grappling hook in spaceball, but it affects any movable object (like ship wrecks) and allows you to throw them at targets for collision damage. As far as debris goes, the last ship to grapple them will become the “owner” of the debris and therefore any damage dealt will act like it came from them. Just like when someone runs in to your ship wreck and you can see the damage.

But why not machines? Would be amazing to literally fling a combat drone back at its owner! xD

Idk it just seems like that might be a little too much power for a multipurpose module. XD

 

Tho if it did work for stuff like drones and stationary equipment, they should detonate on impact lmao.
