Corporation rework

Corporation rework

Now when making a new corp, you would need to pay the standard price of 3000 gs, one new option would be added right when making a new corporation - side of the conflict. This basically means where is your corporation’s HQ going to be, either empire, jericho or federation. This also means you will be able to build a certain dreadnought from then on. This also chooses the bonus to all members, so being in a corporation now encourages even more pilots. Those are: Empire - 1-5% damage boost, Federation - 1-5% maneuvering speed bonus, Jericho 1-5% shield resistance to all damage types bonus. The longer you are in the corp, the bigger the bonus is (ie joining: 1%, 1 week 2%, 1 month 3%, 3 months 4%, 6 months 5%). Officer and VP ranks would stay unchanged, with the usual rights they have atm.

The HQ location is basically the same as the “corporation shipyard” location, but in the beginning, it will just work like a regular hangar. Expanding the maximum number of the members also changes the design of the station, adding new objects, etc. After a certain time the CEO will have an option to expand the station for a dock, which will work in the future as a dreadnought building facility. The station itself will provide a number of unique quests, for example PvE mission where you would need to protect your HQ from pirates and flagships like the one in fire support or defense contract. The other could be a raid on an enemy HQ, consisting of 3 phases, something like disabling the defense systems, sabotage the dreadnought, escape from sector… The main difference from the regular PvE’s is, that the reward is iridium instead of credits, the standard amount is 100 per T4-5 (T3 75, T1-2 50) win - 75% goes to corporation, 25% to the player. The map design would depend on the side of the conflict the corporation is affiliated with (defense), or random of the three remaining map designs on the raid mission. There could be special OS missions as well, something like escorting a transport to the HQs sector, etc.

There should be more dreadnought design available, two for each side of conflict (Example). The dreadnought building itself should be enhanced of more modules, different turrets… I propose adding more kinds of turrets, so far we have EM turrets and missile launchers. There should also be a kinetic damage based flaks that are present on all the other dreadnoughts in PvEs, and unique laser turrets that would work similarly like the pulse laser on interceptors, low range, high dps, big spread, high RoF…

Another thing I suggest is adding ammunition - for the launcher some missiles like the different kinds of launchers in “captured dreadnought” pve - fast low range missiles with fast reload and low damage; mediocre velocity medium range missiles with medium reload that have an AoE effect on impact; slow long range missiles with slow reload but high damage. For the EM turrets simillar ammo as the regular weapons - slow high damage supernova rounds, fast low damage booster circuit rounds and mediocre damage medim velocity double deflector rounds. For the flak cannons fast reload high spread vanadium rounds, high critical chance shaped charge rounds, high speed low damage uranium rounds, high damage explosive rounds. For the lasers high frequency oscilators that decrease the spread of the lasers, flat reflector which increases the optimal and maximum range, curved reflecotr with high dps but low range and xenon lamp with slightly higher dps.

Last thing I propose is to change the looks of the drones from an actual ships, to ships that actually look like drones, each side having its own original design (jericho with sharp edges and red/gray-ish color; federation with non-aerodynamic looks and russian green color; empire with slick looking design and beige color…)

I read the whole text, but I doubt that they will.

I like it all. Make it happen.

Dosent look appealing to me.
