Alma lost her mother at an early age and was raised by her father. Willing to be like him, she wanted to become a pilot. In many ways, her father helped her with her studies and by the time she entered the academy, the young woman was able to single-handedly fly a frigate.
Unfortunately, in 4610, the flight to the flight school that Alma was on was attacked by pirates. They took Alma as their slave. The girl’s mental state was damaged and later she acquired Stockholm syndrome.
It is unknown how she was able to prove her loyalty to the pirates, but after five years of slavery she received the Blood Tormentor frigate under her command. Since then, Alma has been one of the most loyal soldiers of baron Charles Vane.
